Cookie Policy
last updated · 6 July 2026
Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. We keep our use of them to the minimum needed to run the site — no advertising, no cross-site tracking.
What we use
On the public Sitewise website, we use strictly necessary cookies only. These keep the site secure and working and remember your cookie choice. Under the UK’s Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), essential cookies like these don’t require consent, but we still tell you about them here.
- Your cookie preference — remembers that you’ve seen and responded to our cookie notice, so we don’t ask again on every visit. Stored in your browser.
- Security & session — standard cookies our platform sets to serve pages safely.
The admin area
If you’re a member of the Sitewise team signing in at /admin, that area sets a session cookie to keep you logged in. This is essential to the admin service and isn’t used on the public site.
What we don’t use
We don’t use advertising cookies, and we don’t track you across other websites. If we ever add analytics, we’ll ask for your consent first and update this page — you won’t be tracked without opting in.
Managing cookies
You can review or change your choice here at any time, and you can block or delete cookies through your browser settings (though blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site working).
